The 'Nothingness' skirt features vintage printed lace from 1830, decorated with flower branches and garlands, reimagined in lilac.Ā
Taking inspiration from the poetry of Matsuo Basho and Zen Haiku, the collection explores ideas of cyclicality and the ephemeral nature of being. The collection celebrates simplicity and repose through the usual HADES idiosyncratic and off-center form. We wanted to create a collection which explored birth, death and resurrection as it manifests in life, nature and our own emotional lives.
The below the knee slit skirtĀ is made from 100% cotton in Somerset, England.Ā
Every piece in the collection will beĀ gifted with a poem written by Chad Gazi.Ā
