Sélavy Jumper | Black
The ‘Sélavy’ knit, a deconstructed cut-out jumper in black.
The DADA! collection takes inspiration from the Dada movement; a European avant-garde art group whose aim was to create art that transformed daily life for the public: turning it from a vapid and banal experience to an imaginative and creative one.
The Dadaists considered society deeply dehumanising and wished to shock the public out of passivity and the grind of an economy-focused society, through artistic interventions on the street.
The 7 piece collection consists of four jumpers, all of which are made in Hawick, Scotland and three skirts, constructed in Somerset.
